So, lets introduce you to Skopje.

Skopje, for the start.... an old video, but great one

Skopsko and everything is possible (Skopsko i se e mozno).... Skopsko beer's signature, which widely accepted by the people..... And yes... Skopje is city of wonders.... especially when you have Skopsko in your hand .... but in many other ways, too.

So my first photos posted here, will be on the SKOPSKO's theme...

It is a very good beer, though...

OK, must tell you some official info and facts for the city, but it wont take long. And common things what people do for their day in Skopje.

Here is something for relaxation

The capital and largest city in Macedonia .... about 700k citizens, estimated for the census in April 2011.... It is a very busy city.... works, school, everybody is on the hurry.... but that lasts till everyone gets home... or not... after that relaxing in the city's bars, restaurants, the City's Park, the Kay of Vardar, home in the garden or nearby park, etc. This is more common in the weekends, when people go to Matka, the Kale, Vodno.....

Thats for now I suddenly got tired I'll proceed later or tomorrow.

OK here I am... I'll try to tell you as much as I can in the next 2 hours, after that I must do some study.

nice music, listen and read

So, as I said, the most common places in Skopje are the bars, restaurants, the City's Park, the Kay of Vardar, Matka, the Kale, Vodno etc.

I will tell you somethings for them, a little bit of all....

So the bars.... Many bars, that's because people here love coffee and talking. And you can find bars, almost everywhere in the city.

this is interesting

and the most famous photo, lol .... this is very common sight...

OK, here I am again....

The last day of PivoLend (beer festival, or the land of beer - translated )

here is something while reading...

So I must take the chance before it ends, I'll write for other things and places tomorrow...

Yea, a great happening, it lasted for 5 days, today is the last one.... It is situated on The Fortress Kale, it is a traditional festival, this is its second or third year, but it has a huge attendance... yea, I think only in Friday, when I visited, there were like 10-15k peopleor more, I was notthat interested about the number at that moment , but it was full and very busy....

the photos are from 2009 edition, but it was almost the same, even better, the best way  to show you the atmosphere...

but some videos from this edition at first... sorry for the quality if it's bad....

LOL He is nuts (in a good way)

Oh wait .... I found some from this 2010 edition, new ones

SKOPSKO

Again SKOPSKO

PREMIUM QUALITY

And here are the participants (Beers )....

and the map

and here is the official web-site, and Facebook page --> http://www.pivolend.com.mk/, http://www.facebook.com/pivolend

The fortress Kale, The Stone bridge and the Ristik's Palace...

The fortress is as I said a very nice place.... Many people go there... Today is an archaeological site.... and is under reconstruction, too.... It has a great view of the city....for example...

We paid 700 Euros for it in Skopje just to get a machine that leaks the fabric softener from the very start of the washing cycle; accordingly the clothes have no nice smell at the end, but smell like rubber after drying and terribly wrinkled despite the XXL drum.

Prior to this model Gorenje WD95140, I had separate washer and dryer Gorenje appliances and was very satisfied with the quality.

if someone needs local 'hand-wash-only' detergent, then search for Biljana, its oldest skopjes d-brand, at least it is ideal souvenir having 50+ years history with package unchanged since wwII and producer which name sounds so greek Ohis
