bravo Macedonia! Thanks for all of the great information! We should all support our brothers and sisters by participating in all of the events as much as possible. I know there are some efforts to bring the Macedonian Language classes back to the school tables, so if you have any information on how we can help please let us know!

Do you have any problems form Greek authorities around organizing events like this? There are no problems from organizing these events only if they are represented as "cultural" or "local" events. This means we cannot politicize the term "Macedonian" in any way to refer to a separate ethnic group or language. We cannot use any flags or signs either. Do young people speak Macedonian Language? Rarely. Greek is becoming the first language of the young people. Young people who live in the larger towns do not speak Macedonian at all. In the villages some speak Macedonian, but only between close friends or family. Macedonian is not allowed to be taught in the schools, there have been some efforts to introduce the language but authorities have rejected it.
